Affordable Housing Scheme


Are you having difficulty in purchasing a property?


Do you feel priced out of the market?


Do you need an affordable home in the South Dublin County Council  area?


If the answer to the questions above is Yes then you may be interested to know that South Dublin County Council is currently disposing of 2 and 3 bedroom properties at various locations throughout the county.


Any person wishing to be considered under the Affordable Housing Scheme is now invited to submit an application subject to the general qualification criteria below.


Qualification Criteria:


·        Applicants must be First Time Buyers

·        Applicants must use South Dublin County Council's Affordable Housing Loan Scheme to purchase a property.

·        Applicant's gross income must be under €36,800 in the previous tax year.

·        Applicants must be currently employed for a minimum of 6 months or self-employed for at least a year.
