Recycle your Christmas tree in 2013

Make recycling your first New year’s resolution in 2013.

From Saturday 5th January to Friday 18th January 2013, the public can bring their Christmas Trees to the following locations for recycling. This facility is for domestic household trees only and not for commercial operators. One tree will be accepted per household.

The Mayor Cathal King said “Recycling your Christmas tree is a good start to the New Year. I advise all households with real Christmas trees to bring their tree to the nearest Christmas tree recycling location listed. This action is a positive one, the shredded material will be used to enhance plantings in the area”
