Public Consultation Procedure under Part 8 of the Local Government

(Planning & Development) Regulations 2001 – 2012

Pursuant to the requirements of the above, Notice is hereby given of the proposal to construct the following scheme by South Dublin County Council:

Infill Social Housing Developments at 3 Locations

1. St Mark’s Green, Clondalkin, Dublin 22 – 11 units

10 no. 3 bedroom/4-5 person Semi-D & terraced dwellings

1 no. 4 bedroom/5 person Semi-D dwelling

The proposal consists of:

Infill Housing - The provision of new 2-storey dwellings including access road and both private and on road parking all to be accessed from St Mark’s Avenue

2. Suncroft, Tallaght, Dublin 24 – 10 units

4 no. 3 bedroom/4-5 person Terraced dwellings

1 no. 4 bedroom/6 person Semi-D dwelling

3 no. 3 bedroom/5 person dwellings

2 no. 4 person Specially Adapted dwellings

The proposal consists of:

Infill Housing - The Provision of 8 no. dwellings, 2 storey, including access road and both private and on road parking all to be accessed from Suncroft Drive + the Provision of 2 no. Specially Adapted Units with private parking accessed off Suncroft Park

3. St Finian’s Avenue, Lucan Co. Dublin – 2 units

2 no. 3 bedroom/5 person Semi-D dwellings

The proposal consists of:

Infill Housing - The removal of the parking bays assigned to the local shop (previously demolished), re-alignment of garden wall to match existing adjacent gardens on both streets, relocation of the Eircom Panel to new site boundary, and construction of 2 no. 3 bedroom/5 person 2 storey dwellings adjacent to no. 24 and on the site of the previous local shop.

Plans and particulars of the proposed schemes will be available for inspection or purchase at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy from Thursday 11th July 2013to Thursday 22nd August 2013at the following locations:

· South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24 (between the hours of 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00am - 4.30pm on Friday).

· Lucan Library, Superquinn Shopping Centre, Newcastle Road, Lucan (between the hours of 9:45am – 8:00pm Monday to Thursday and 9:45am – 4:30pm Friday and Saturday). INSPECTION ONLY.

· South Dublin County Council, Civic Offices, Clondalkin, Dublin 22 (between the hours of 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00am - 4.30pm on Friday).

The plans and particulars can be viewed on South Dublin County Council’s website – www.sdcc.ie

Written submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development, dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the developments would be situated, may be made in writing to arrive no later than4.00pm on Thursday the 5th of September 2013to:
