Proposed Temporary Closure of
Peamount Road (junction with Nangor Road)
To facilitate Clonmel Enterprises Ltd. to replace existing water drainage and power services and to install new public lighting with full carriage way upgrade with new footpath and public lighting, South Dublin County Council propose to temporarily close a section of the following road:
Road Name: Peamount Road (junction with Nangor Road)
From: Monday 6th July 2026.
To: Monday 17th August 2026.
Time of Closure: 24 hours daily.

Detour Route: To Newcastle Village Via Aylmer Road length 3.25KM
To Peamount Hospital via Aylmer Road length 5.9KM

Dublin Bus W6 Route will be affected, further updates will be available on the SDCC website.

Local access will be maintained.

24hr emergency access to be maintained at all times.
Any person interested may lodge an observation/submission in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Planning and Transport, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24 or by email to seoroads@sdublincoco.ie no later than 5.00 p.m. on Monday 22nd June 2026.
